Professional Learning Communities

Professional Learning Communities are catching on rapidly in educational settings across the United States. Research shows that PLCs are an effecient and cost effective way to have educators exchange ideas and share strategies with their peers. What are your thoughts on PLCs and what do you hope to gain through your participation in the 8th Grade Language Arts's PLC?
